Welcome to Boulangerie Jade
I created Boulangerie Jade in August of 2002 with a simple idea: to open a traditional French bakery in London and to give people a taste for authentic French baked goods. I trained as a pastry chef and baker at the young age of 15 in Paris. I am proud to have started my career in a very traditional restaurant and patisserie where everything was made from scratch. I have had a very rewarding career working for some of the most exciting and notable restaurants in London such as Quaglinos, Mezzo, Collection Daphne, Pasha, Club Gascon. I was instrumental in the opening of Euphoriuim bakery in 1997. In 2016, my team and I had the wonderful opportunity to get to the finals of the first Bake Off Creme de la Creme on BBC One.
At Boulangerie Jade, provenance is key! Some of our ingredients are from Moulin de Paris and others from Forichier in Brittany. Since we opened, our core values have remained the same: to make everything fresh from scratch, with the finest quality ingredients and using traditional French baking techniques.
We take pride in still making everything by hand and you will not find some of our creations anywhere else in London. We are a popular local choice for special occasion cakes, especially our signature item, the Croquembouche. With my background as a chef, it only seemed naturally for our shops to have a brunch menu as I believe in good, simple French food with a bit of an English twist
We also supply our baked goods to local independent restaurants, cafes and delis. Most of our wholesale customers have been working with us for 10 to 15 years and our first customer, a local cafe, has been working with us for 22 years.
We offer delicious French food, made from the highest quality ingredients and using seasonal recipes in our shops.
Find a Jade near you for the very best French baked goods. Some of our shops also offer a bistro menu of hot comfort foods.
